 First Grade Teacher

The Susquehanna Waldorf School is inviting applicants for a Grade One Class Teacher beginning in September 2018. SWS was established in 1987 and is an Associate Member of AWSNA. We are situated in a picturesque, historic building in the river town of Marietta, PA. We have a strong, talented faculty that works to support one another and represent Waldorf education to the school community and beyond. Our students benefit from a medley of programs that include Mandarin, Spanish, Latin, eurythmy, music, orchestra, woodworking and fiber arts.

Compensation:

We offer a base salary with stipend for a Master’s Degree and/or Waldorf Certification, health benefits, tuition remission, mentoring and financial support for professional development.

Waldorf teacher training and classroom experience are preferred

Teacher For Rising 6th Grade 

The Susquehanna Waldorf School is seeking an experienced Waldorf Teacher for our Rising 6th Grade class in the 2018–19 school year. Our teacher will be dedicated to Waldorf pedagogy, bring a confident classroom presence and have collegial capacities and parent relationship skills.

  

Our students benefit from a medley of programs that include Mandarin, Spanish, Latin, Eurythmy, Music, Orchestra, Woodworking and Fiber Arts. Our school community celebrates seasonal festivals and holds family centered activities year-round. The local Anthroposophic study group meets alternate Mondays on site.

 

The Susquehanna Waldorf School is situated in historic Marietta, Pa., within two hours of major cities such as Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Philadelphia.

 

Compensation:
